Not many teenagers voluntarily take on the role of a mother, but that is what Kyla has become to her two-year-old niece ever since her sister died. But Kyla is still at school and has to juggle her many responsibilities to Josie, to work, and to her own mother, who hasn’t been the same since Kyla was four.
After being moved unexpectedly to a new area, Kyla’s responsibilities have suddenly grown. Now she’s been roped into using her psychic abilities – which she swore never to use again – to catch a thief at school.
